Ask! and Ye shall receive

I was home sick and there was about a foot of snow outside. I knew I should have done my grocery shopping the prior Saturday but I had put it off. Here I was Monday morning with one very, very small bottle of Diet Coke in the fridge. I panicked!!! How was I going to make it through the day without caffeine and most important bubbles!!! I love FIZZ! I looked up to the heavens and jokingly ( not so much) Lord, I need Diet Coke and I can’t go to the store! I kid you not ,about 10 minutes later my phone rang and it was a friend of mine Kelly, who got off work early and she was at the store and she felt like I needed to have some Diet Coke . We laughed as I told her about my prayer…wink wink! A few minutes after she left my landlord knocked at my door with 2 huge boxes from Amazon. They were so heavy he brought them in one by one. I didn’t order anything ? I opened the boxes and there were 8 , yes, 8 cases of Diet Coke! I went from having 1 small bottle to having 122 cans of Diet Coke! I looked to the heavens again whilst giggling and said thank you! I then looked in my fridge and thought …..I’m out of yogurt. It’s a new brand named Siggi’s that is high protein and I’m addicted. It’s hard to find at some stores , and so new ,most people don’t know about it. I joked looking up to heaven and joked…I should have asked for a few things of yogurt ! Ha ha! A few minutes later a neighbor Jan knocked at my door after being at the grocery store thinking of me and bought me 6 containers of yogurt……oh, and it was Siggis!!! God is so GOOD and He has a GREAT sense of humor!!!

P.s. My client/friend Angela had sent me the Diet Coke after talking on Saturday. She was kind enough to think I would “need” Diet Coke and not get out on Monday and so overnighted all the Diet Coke
